Marcel Scherf

My survival strategy is the jack of all trades approach or translated for marketing and recruiting:

Fullstack with backend focus.

That does not mean I can do everything, it means I try to know all working parts and keep them in mind when building anything. It also means I am intrested in everything including all the stuff nobody besides developer or operations asks about like CI/CD-pipelines, automation tools, API-design or coding patterns except the microservice buzzword guy get him out of here, please.

I like to build something that brings worth and makes peoples live easier and for that you need to know why and for whom you build something. So you need to get to know the current process before you even type one line of code.

So if you requested a "machine learning enhanced realtime big data analyses endpoint for sales that will raise productivity by 10x" I will talk to you, the actual users, the Manager who requested this and most likely will advice you to just show a bar chart on the landing page.

If you still want the overkill solution and are willing to pay for it, count me in, that does sound awesome.
